This lighting project has allowed us to combine lighting quality and energy savings without ignoring sustainability development. The Project
Pemex is the Mexican state-owned petroleum company, created in 1938 by nationalization or expropriation of all private, foreign, and domestic oil companies at that time.
THE SOLUTION
To replace existing TYPICAL 250W METAL HALIDE. The MH light have low-glare flow moulded lensing to maximise reflective illumination and provides an even dispersal of light. Generaly,under the canopy, 400lux light level is sufficient at the ground level.It makes the stations more secure and create an attractive environment for drivers. Some studies show that lighting plays an important role in the selection of gas station by drivers during the journey.

THE COST SAVINGS
The lighting project has allowed PEMEX to combine lighting quality and energy savings without ignoring sustainable development – a basic requirement of the project plan. In addition, the customer has benefited from SINOCO’S ability to implement a large-scale project. Therefore, the entire lighting system has been reviewed and switched to LED technology. The petrol stations have been totally equipped with LED luminaires, which allows a significant reduction in energy consumption (around 85%) and a significant reduction in maintenance costs.
